With increasing availability of microcomputers and the Internet, online learning is becoming more prevalent in K-20 educational institutions. The effectiveness of online classes depends mostly on instructor’s effectiveness. Relatively few of today’s online instructors have have the background required to teach effectively online. OTA’s courses provide teachers with the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to be more effective.

The standards and proficiencies guiding all of OTA’s online courses are correlated to the National Standards for Quality Online Teachers (NSQOT – NACOL) and the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS – ISTE).

OTA offers a suite of courses, each of which is 4-6 weeks in length, depending on customers’ requirements.
